We are grateful to be part of the first cohort receiving the Decoding Immune-Mediated Diseases – Novel Approaches for Therapeutic Insights grants. This initiative is a partnership between JDRF International, the Lupus Research Alliance, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society formed to stimulate innovative research into common mechanisms of autoimmunity in order to generate new insights for novel therapeutic approaches.

Supported by this grant, our lab will be using 3D and single-cell epigenomic technologies to build an atlas of autoimmune disease-associated genetic factors, with the goal of gaining novel insights into the shared and disease-specific mechanisms governing each disease.
